Weeding principle [Destruction due to low-temperature brittleness]
We spray liquefied nitrogen at -196 °C directly onto weeds. Brittleness due to the cryogenic temperature is utilized to destroy the weed tissue by instantly freezing it from the root. Since weeds whose tissue has been destroyed are difficult to regenerate, it is easy to maintain the weeding effect.
